Fools (30x30; collage of colored paper and acrylic and acrylic ink on canvas paper on canvas)
iPhoto is being insane and won't let me crop any photos, so this is the best I could do.
I did the initial painting for this collage and most of the cutting back in October. Then I didn't really touch it again until March, when I finished the cutting and did the perimeter gluing. Then I mostly left it alone until the semester ended. I did the vast majority of the gluing over the past few days. My back is killing me, but I'm really pleased with the results. I love the way this piece looks from far away because it's hard to tell it's a collage. I also noticed that the farther away I get from the piece, the more it's so obviously influenced by Lee Krasner. Oh well. I like it!
